♥ MOO | Experience Design Roles

A big thank you to my friend Jane over at MOO for kicking off the redjotter RSS feed sponsorship. MOO are the world’s much-loved digital print and design company and they are HIRING for two full-time amazing roles in their shiny new offices;  Senior User Experience Researcher and a Senior Experience Designer.

“I joined MOO four months ago with the intention to build an amazing combined team of ux designers, visual designers and researchers all working together to craft a brilliant, ground-breaking and beautiful digital experience. I really believe working with us will be career defining.

I joined because MOO is truly a fantastic place to work, and because I was very excited by the vision for the company and by the senior team (ex GDS and Silicon Valley) so we are a great example of product and Agile done well. Things are just as great as I thought they would be, and the culture is even better. It’s a great place to work and learn.”

This is an Senior Experience Designer role to grab with both hands if you are looking for a new challenge; MOO is aggressively expanding their products; while also emphasising the importance of an easy-to-use, simple, delightful product experience on any device.

For 2017, their core focus is building a new design system and user experience on mobile devices (as well as a few other things). This includes a redesign of all key customer touch points, including creation tools, merchandising, check-out, account and inspiration sections.

The Senior User Experience Researcher role has been designed to be the integral resource for the Experience Design (EXD) and Product teams. Your mission will be to bring product teams on a journey to deepen their understanding of our customers and use this knowledge to deliver delightful products. Reporting to the Head of Product Research, you will join the growing Experience Design team at MOO, with opportunity for future career progression.

As well as making gorgeous printed products (see my business cards for an example) The team at MOO really encourage a “be yourself at work” culture, as well as comprehensive benefits including matched up to 5% pension, paid parental leave, 25 days holiday rising to 30 through tenure, private healthcare insurance, life insurance, season ticket loans, cycle to work scheme and an ice cream fridge stocked with at least 4 flavours of Magnum and more cake than you’ve ever seen. What's not to love?

Try their services out for yourself here. Having spent four years at art school and nearly ten years practising design, I have yet to come across a digital print company that comes close to the brilliance of MOO
